Commercial (7) RTU Replacements & Ductwork Upgrade

Bay Area Mechanical completed a large-scale rooftop HVAC replacement project, replacing seven rooftop packaged units (RTUs) and installing new rooftop ductwork for a commercial facility. The project included crane lifting operations, new electrical and control connections, programmable thermostats, economizer installation, and startup of each system. Our technicians also fabricated and installed new ductwork, replaced ductwork serving an additional existing unit, and performed extensive troubleshooting and repairs to existing thermostat wiring to ensure reliable system operation.

Upon completion, each RTU was started, tested, and balanced for proper heating and cooling performance. The project concluded with final roof cleanup, removal of debris and old equipment, and verification that all systems were operating safely and efficiently.
