Cooler/ Freezer Combo Installation

Bay Area Mechanical provided engineered drawings and coordinated plan check approvals with B.I.C. to obtain the required permits. Our team attended all required inspections, completed necessary corrections, and secured approval for both rough and final inspections. The project included furnishing and installing a new cooler/freezer combination box with refrigeration equipment mounted above the box in accordance with approved submittals. A 10-mil vapor barrier was installed beneath the 4-inch insulated cooler/freezer floor, terminating at an angle screed at floor height, with all seams sealed using butyl sealant. We furnished and installed all required refrigeration equipment, installed new refrigerant piping between the evaporator and condensing units insulated with ¾-inch wall closed-cell rubber insulation, and installed new condensate piping from two evaporator coils to the exterior of the building near the boxes. Upon completion, the systems were pressure tested, triple evacuated, charged with the required refrigerant, and fully started up to verify proper operation.
